Web 2.0 in the Classroom

The development of a graduate level class in integrating Web 2.0 tech into K-12 Curriculum

Christina Noyes, the Creative Director of Making Movie Memories, is an award-winning educator who teaches throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She specializes in facilitating technology workshops for educators that focus on how to creatively integrate technology into classroom curriculum. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students whose ages range from elementary school to senior citizens. She tailors her instruction to the learners’ level and needs. She directs in-class coaching sessions that offer educators hands on experience, direction and new teaching strategies. Christina translates computer programs into illuminating multimedia resources that enhances the learning experience for students of all ages. Christina is very conscious of the National Educational Technology Standards and helps educators manifest them into relevant classroom activities that support California State Content Standards.

Currently, Christina teaches the Level II course Integrating Computer Technology into the Curriculum at the University of California at Berkeley Extension. Christina is also the coordinator and instructor of a digital media program for the Bridge Housing Corporation at a site in San Francisco.

Christina is a current ITEC graduate student at San Francisco State University.
